This Plant is Amazing!

In 24 hours our plants grew so much! We were ecstatic to see how much these little plants grew overnight!

By the end of the day, we noticed the plant "arching" over towards the window. An hour before the end of the day, we turned the plant away from the window and by golly that plant returned back to the side where the window was. We thought it would take the entire weekend and it gravitated towards the light in less than a hour! The kids really think this plant is a little miracle!

Spider Experiment

We imagined that the water was "spider venom". The sugar cube was a "bug". This demonstrated a change of state from a solid to a liquid. A spider "drinks" the insides of its prey and this is possible by the change from a solid to a liquid.

Spiders, Spiders, Everywhere!

This is amazing! Did you know that a Daddy Long Legs is NOT a spider? It is a member of the arachnid family. It does not produce silk or have fangs. It is a closer relative to the scorpion. Watch and see how these little guys scatter about!
